The terms governing your use of QuickPOS software.

1. Licence
QuickPOS is licensed to you, not sold. Purchasing or downloading QuickPOS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on computers you own or control, solely for your own business operations.
You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign or distribute the software to third parties. You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software.
2. Permitted use
QuickPOS is licensed for use as a point of sale system for lawful business operations. You agree not to use the software for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
3. Updates
We may release updates to QuickPOS from time to time. Updates are provided free of charge to all licence holders. We reserve the right to change, discontinue or modify features in future versions.
4. Data and backups
All data created by QuickPOS is stored locally on your hardware. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We accept no liability for data loss arising from hardware failure, accidental deletion, software errors or any other cause.
5. Third-party services
QuickPOS integrates optionally with Stripe for payment processing. Your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe's own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability, reliability or conduct of Stripe or any other third-party service.
6. Warranty disclaimer
QuickPOS is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for any particular purpose. Your use of the software is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of revenue or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use QuickPOS.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
